Every day we strive to improve.  Progress is both inevitable and necessary.  There are infinite examples of the progress we have made in the world, our country, our state and our city.  We are a better community today than we were 50 years ago, and yet we’re never done improving.  We have more to do to create equity, opportunity, shared prosperity and a feeling of connection and comradery throughout our city.  This progress needs to be championed and it needs to be thoughtful.  To this end, we need a highly functioning City Council, guided by the residents, that can work with the city staff to ensure a fair and transparent process towards a vision for the future.  Also, Pamplemousse is a delicious grapefruit flavor of La Croix.  You should try it.  It’s French.
